Our 2019-2020 School Yearbooks have finally arrived!! These yearbooks were designed and produced by our amazing 8th Grade students last year. Most of the work was done during the pandemic shut down. These students rose to the occasion and completed the yearbook at home on their chromebooks!! Hats off to our 8th Grade Class of 2020, we appreciate all your hard work! Please pick up your books in the office between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday.
Even though we cannot hold our Memorial Day Remembrance this year, we continue to honor those who have died while serving our country. Please keep these heroes in your prayers as you enjoy the Memorial Day Weekend.
Today, Governor Wolf announced that all Pennsylvania school buildings would remain closed for in-person instruction through the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year. Archdiocesan schools have been successfully operating with flexible instruction since March 16 and will continue with this method of instruction indefinitely.

Based on the mandate by the PA Department of Education, instructed by the Governor of the state, schools are closed for in-person instruction and students will continue learning remotely. If the mandate changes, we will consult the Archdiocese on the possibility of reopening the school for the remainder of the school year. Please know that it is our full intention to comply with our governing bodies during this pandemic.
Good Afternoon, Our Governor has taken unprecedented moves to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus. For us this means that school will be closed at least until March 30th. I know the challenge that this presents to all of our families. First and foremost you are in our most sincere prayers, as is our entire society. We will keep in touch with you and work to navigate this challenge in the best interest of all. God Bless us all! Peace, Kevin Conwell
As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop, our primary concern is the safety of our community. At this time, we have decided to cancel the Student Showcase/Open House scheduled for Thursday, March 12th. While a difficult decision to make, we have decided to err on the side of caution. Although we have no current contact with the virus, an open house creates a greater possibility of introducing it into our building and we do not wish to take that risk. We appreciate your understanding, support and prayers as we navigate this process. Peace, Kevin Conwell Saint Mary Catholic School
