Welcome to all Saint Mary Families!!!

Here’s a quick summary of St Mary’s Home and School Association. We hope to see you at all HASA events this year!!!!
MISSION:
HASA’s Mission is to provide support to the educational, social and spiritual needs of the students and faculty, as well as foster a sense of community at St Mary’s.

2012-2013 HASA FEES:
Based on the overwhelming results of a vote at a HASA General Meeting, an Annual Activities Fee will replace most of the St. Mary’s Fundraisers throughout the year. This annual fee of $50.00 per family supports the items listed above. Please return your Annual Activities Fee with your completed Family Directory Update Form and return to school with your child. Thank you.

2012-2013 FAMILY DIRECTORY AND EMAIL DIRECTORY:
St. Mary’s publishes a hard copy of our Family Directory, as well as maintains an email distribution list of our families for communication of upcoming events and important information. ONLY families that complete the Family Directory Update Form and provide their permission for the 2012-2013 school year will be included in the Family Directory and Email Directory.

HASA MEETING SCHEDULE:
There are three General HASA Meetings each school year, which provide an opportunity to share school news and upcoming events with our parent community, as well as hear an update from the HASA team. Meetings are scheduled in October, February and April; all parents are encouraged to attend!

The HASA Board also meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Parish House. ALL parents are welcome to attend, so please join us if you’d like to assist us in an upcoming event or take part in HASA.

VOLUNTEERS WELCOME AND NEEDED:
HASA’s success is a direct result of the time and talent of our St. Mary’s families. Please consider donating your time or talent to help the activities mentioned above. Be on the lookout for volunteer requests, and/or send an email to HASA@smsk-8.org for more information on how you can help.

NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS:

 

Family Pizza Party / HASA Town Hall
Tuesday, May 21
6:30 pm in the café.
Following dinner, the students will go to the gym to socialize. Parents will stay in the café for a brief Town Hall Meeting to:

  • Engage in discussions about the future of our school

  • Recognize the contributions of those who assisted HASA

  • Vote on next year’s HASA Officers

  • Congratulate and thank Fr. McElroy
