Accreditation is a self-evaluation process that St. Mary Catholic School voluntarily underwent to demonstrate they are meeting a defined set of performance standards. Re-accreditation confirms and validates the work we do each and every day to ensure a top quality education for our students. Click here to read more information about this wonderful achievement!

World Meeting of Families

Philadelphia 2015 today packaged 10,000 letters from students across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to send to Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Pontifical Council for the Family, in Rome, Italy. Ranging from beautifully crafted greeting cards to handwritten letters with emotionally resonant messages of love for their own families, students from across the Archdiocese created personal invitations to Pope Francis to visit Philadelphia in September 2015. For more information regarding the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia next September, please visit www.WorldMeeting2015.org. You can also get info on Facebook (World Meeting of Families 2015), twitter (@WMF2015) (@WMF2015ES) and Instagram (WMF2015).

Parent Reminders

PLEASE REMEMBER TO PUT NAMES IN ALL COATS, AND SWEAT SHIRTS! Remember, it's a good idea to label all student items with their names: lunch boxes, coats, sweat shirts, and sweater, hats, gloves. Items are always being found, and labeling will help find its rightful owner! Thank you in advance for your help!

Virus, cold & flu season are upon us. Remember to discuss with your children the importance of hand-washing - it's the best prevention for spreading germs.

If you have a concern, please remember to address your concerns to the appropriate person as soon as possible, waiting often causes other issues. Remember, most concerns are due to no communication or miscommunication.

Every Thursday Communication Envelopes will be sent home with your child. Important papers to keep you informed of what is going on at Saint Mary’s School and our community will be sent home in the Communication Envelopes. A few things to remember…

  • Please return the communication envelope to school with your child each week

  • Please do not return any completed forms, notes, checks, etc. in the communication envelope. Your child’s teacher does not look through the envelope. Forms, notes, etc. should be sent in through school directly to your teacher or the school office.
